Summer loving has hit our Trotter Tribe with the sunshine vibes of low key and pool side. We have kept our sweet tea and lemonades flowing and are knee deep in sport's camps, overnight Kamp and family game nights. May 1st we hit a massive crescendo in our ministry year with the very first Arrows Event! January to May God took this ministry to an Ephesians 3:20 dream come true. The first half of 2016 was filled with multiple speaking events, 7 weeks of teaching local Bible study here in Dallas to a multi-denominational/multi-generational bunch of friends, development of NEW online media tools, newsletters, new ministry partners and so many sweet new sisters in Jesus that my heart felt at a bursting point! With the exponential ministry growth and all the ways my tribe had stretched our schedule to max capacity the words in Isaiah 30:15 became extremely important to how I needed to start off the summer....
"The holy Lord God of Israel had told all of you, “I will keep you safe if you turn back to me and calm down. I will make you strong if you quietly trust me.” {Isaiah 30:15 - CEV}
So, I took a much needed sabbatical and allowed life to catch up. It has been wonderful and necessary and beautiful. Although I love a great big ministry hullabaloo schedule this whole shindig started in obscure moments with just myself and Jesus. That's where the precious stuff is at. It is important not to forget that level of intimacy.
Growth is great as long as the momentum keeps your intimacy level with Jesus intensifying.
I've been so thankful for the time to get fueled up.
And I was fueled up to get fired up! God has stirred up my heart with a series of messages and I believe with all my spiritual guts He has some of the sweetest days of online Bible study before us.
