Power Prayers | Spin off the Becoming App this week!

Hey, guys!

As promised in our Becoming App devotional video for Philippians 4:8 day two here are the 12 steps I rattled off fast for Power Prayers! Remember there is no such thing as perfect....God only asks us to stay persistent. This is just to be used to help jolt your prayer life. Praying for YOU this second!

  1. Worship God because H is an awesome God and worthy of our heart's affection. {Psalm 100:4}
  2. Be Still and know that He is God. {Psalm 46:10}
  3. Confess your sins and cover them with the blood of Jesus. Agree with God about your sins. Acknowledge that your sins have grieved His Spirit. Allow God to soften your heart and make you sensitive to His gentle correction. Repent and receive His forgiveness and cleansing. {Psalm 66:18; 1 John 1:9; John 3:16}
  4. Submit to God with your whole being under His Lordship. Confess your position in Christ. Don't let the enemy rob you of who you are, what you have, and what you can do in Christ. {1 Peter 5:6}
  5. Believe that God will hear and answer. {Hebrew 11:6}
  6. Do Battle in spiritual warfare. The atoning blood of Jesus has the power to break the devil's dominion. Christ invested us with His delegated spiritual authority to bind the forces of darkness in His name. The devil has no legal power over us unless we concede ground to him. {Ephesians 6, 1 John 4:4, Matthew 12:29}
  7. Listen to the Holy Spirit. Prayer is more than asking. Learn to distinguish His voice. {1 Corinthians 2:9-10}
  8. Ask God what He wants you to pray about. {John 14:13-14}
  9. Join Together in agreement with other believers. Ask God for a prayer partner who will pray with you as they pray for their family. {Matthew 18:19-20}
  10. Persist until the answer comes! {Matthew 7:7}
  11. Praise the Lord that He has heard, and He will answer according to His will. {1 John 5:14-15}
  12. Act on what God has revealed to you. Pray and obey. {John 2:5}
